Fixed Installations (CTS)

Since the Project is self-contained, the required Electrical Power will have to be arranged by the agency/ contractor. For estimation purposes, power required per workstation can be taken as 3KVA. A new DG set shall be installed at the end of Platform preferably away from passenger for avoiding pollution and noise. The power generated will be distributed throughout the length of platform adjacent to Railway Track in GI pipe with suitable points for tapping single phase 230 Volts. The indicated specification of the DG set is given below:

A suitable temporarily enclosure for housing DG set of the size 15 x 20 feet shall be constructed by the contractor in the area earmarked by Railway and given free of cost to contractor. The area shall be on any of the platform premises at the end of it.

A suitable enclosure for housing cleaning equipments, tools, chemicals and operating its daily running office called “Machine room” of  the size 15 x 20 feet shall be constructed by the contractor in the area earmarked by Railway and given free of cost to contractor. The area shall be on any of the platform premises.

All the civil related to above constructions will be borne by contractor. If required by Contractor, the Railway shall provide a metered electrical connection for these rooms for which the contractor will pay monthly tariff as per Railway rate.
